Procurement Administrator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join our Procurement team for maternity cover on a temporary basis for 10 months, based in our Aberdeen office.
Some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Suitable applicants should ideally have:
- Assisting Procurement Manager.
- To work in accordance with the departments objectives and procedures.
- Ensure that all Base Requests/Orders are handled and processed in a timely manner, effective following up expediting.
- Ensure all Base Orders have the correct relevant approval.
- To maintain electronic filing system and general housekeeping.
- Maintaining the Approved Vendors Register ensuring list is updated /revised on a regular basis.
- Processing applications for new Vendors – ensuring all paperwork is completed and approved.
- Assisting with the entering of new/approved Budgets in Wintag at Year End.
- Responsible for winter/summer tyre change on Company cars.
- Stena Sphere and Stena Aberdeen agreements to be distributed /electronically filed.
- To maintain suitable stock levels of hard hats and holdalls required for staff courses, offshore trips etc.
- Adhere to approval levels as per current Power Reserve List.
- To be familiar with the Cost Coding System.
- Ensure Stena Terms & Conditions accompanies all order.
- Process applications for the OEM/OES Register – ensuring all paperwork is completed and has relevant approvals prior to entry in the Register.
- Any other duties are required by the Procurement Manager.
Suitable applicants should ideally have:
- Good administrative skills, including the use of computer systems
- Suitable experience in offshore industry
- Good Communication skills & time management skills
- Positive ‘service attitude’
- Systematic & conscientious approach to work
- Attention to detail
- Organisation qualities
